AI KIDS CLUB FOR SCHOOLS IN KENYA
Introduce AI and digital skills classes & workshops for your school in Kenya through the AI Kids Club
What could your students make if they had a weekly AI class?
They could build a brand, create a video, make an app or try a robotics project, with an instructor guiding them.
Imagine hearing a parent say, “The school down the road already has an AI club.”
The last thing you want is a parent asking why your school still doesn’t offer AI & digital skills classes.
Parents hear and know that the future is digital. They see AI changing how people work, create and do business. They want to know whether their children are learning the skills they will need.
When a parent asks, “When are the AI and digital-skills classes starting?” what will your school be able to tell them?
A complete AI and digital skills programme for your school
TAG AI Kids Club is a practical, instructor-led AI and digital skills programme that your school can introduce without having to develop a curriculum from scratch, hire specialist AI instructors or figure out how to run the classes yourselves.
We bring the complete programme to your school, including the curriculum, instructors, tools and guided learning activities. Your school simply provides the learning space and introduces the club to parents.
Students learn what artificial intelligence is, how it works and how to use it through practical, hands-on activities. They then apply what they’ve learnt to bring their own ideas to life.
Depending on their chosen pathway, they can create stories, animated videos, games, apps, digital artwork and coded projects, and explore robotics.
Your Students Are Already Growing Up With AI. Let’s Teach Them What They Can Do With It.
Two ways for students to explore AI and digital skills
Students choose a pathway that connects with what they enjoy. In both, they learn by making projects with instructor guidance.
Creative & Innovation Pathway
For students interested in languages, arts, sport, media or social issues. They use AI and digital tools to develop and share their ideas.
They might turn a story into a script or video, create digital artwork, design a logo and brand, or make a campaign about an issue in their community. The focus is on using technology to bring their ideas to life.
STEM Pathway
For students interested in mathematics, science and technology. They explore how digital tools work and use technology to solve problems.
They might learn to code, make a simple app, or build and program a robot to complete a task. They test their projects, see what works and make improvements.
Both pathways help students apply AI and digital skills to projects they care about.
AI Classes for Kids and Teens at Your School: What does the AI Kids Club Program look like?
Students bring different interests and strengths. Some want to create stories, media, designs or business ideas. Others want to code, build robots and solve technical problems.
The two pathways give learners with creative, business and technical interests a way to take part.
Creative AI Classes for Kids and Teens: Storytelling, Design and Digital Skills
This pathway is for students interested in storytelling, languages, art, design, media, business ideas and questions about people and society.
Students can use AI and digital tools to:
- Develop stories, comics and music
- Create characters, scenes and visual ideas
- Develop a business idea, choose a name and build its brand
- Plan how to market the business idea
- Design posters, flyers, graphics and social media content
- Create and edit videos that explain the value of their idea
- Build a website or app with AI
- Set up social media pages and learn how to attract an audience
- Explore advertising on Meta platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, TikTok, Google and YouTube
- Develop an innovation that responds to a problem at school or in the community
A student interested in art, languages or social questions can create a story, campaign or digital project. A student interested in business can build a brand and learn how to reach an audience. Students develop practical creative and digital skills through projects they care about.
For CBC schools, this pathway can connect with learners interested in areas such as Arts and Sports Science, Social Sciences and Languages.
AI and Digital Marketing Classes for Students: From Business Idea to Brand
Students can take a business idea from its first sketch towards something they can show and explain. They develop a brand, plan how to market it, create graphics and videos, set up social media pages and explore how to attract an audience.
They can use AI to help create a website or app and learn about advertising on Meta platforms, TikTok, Google and YouTube. As they work, they practise graphic design with AI, digital marketing with AI, storytelling and explaining the value of their idea.
STEM AI Classes for Kids and Teens: Coding and Robotics
This pathway is for students interested in science, technology, coding, robotics, mathematics and practical problem-solving.
Students can:
- Code a game or interactive project
- Take on a robotics challenge
- Plan, build and test a solution to a practical problem
- Debug their work and make improvements
- Break a technical challenge into steps and work through it
The STEM pathway gives students a more technical and detailed way to explore technology. It can support learners interested in the CBC STEM pathway and any student curious about how things work.
Students do not need to have chosen a formal school pathway to take part. They can start with the kind of project that interests them.

Student AI Projects: From Stories and Apps to Community Innovations
Imagine a student beginning the term with an idea for a story, a business or a way to solve a problem.
Over the term, a story can become a comic. A business idea can grow into a name, brand, marketing plan, graphics and video. Students might use AI to create a website or app. An innovation could help families track household supplies or help learners revise Mathematics or Kiswahili. A technical idea could become a coded game or a robot designed to complete a task.
Students work individually or in groups. They plan, create, test and improve their projects. At the end of the term, they present to parents and the school community.
Picture families listening as a student explains the idea, shows what they made and describes what they changed along the way. That is a moment students can feel proud of, and a moment that shows families what the school is helping them become.
How the Weekly AI Club Works at Your School
The weekly club is the heart of TAG AI Kids Club. Students meet regularly and develop a project across the term, individually or in groups.
The instructor teaches a shared skill and guides students as they apply it to their projects. One group might use a story-planning session to build a comic, while another develops a mystery or plans a short video. In STEM, students might learn to break down a challenge and apply that approach to a coding or robotics project.
At the end of each term, students present their projects to parents and the school community at a Demo Day.
The school and TAG agree on the schedule, age groups and group size so the program suits your students and timetable.
You can also choose 1-day AI workshops, AI Days & Holiday AI Classes for Kids
Schools can book a one-day AI workshop for their students. The session can introduce learners to a creative, innovation or STEM activity, with an instructor guiding them as they try the tools and make something of their own.
For students who want to learn over more than one day, TAG also runs AI classes during the school holidays. These classes give kids more time to explore AI and digital skills through guided projects.
We’ll scope the format with you around your students, timetable and goals.

Students learn more than how to use AI tools.
As they develop a project, they practise the thinking, communication and problem-solving skills that help them turn an idea into something they can explain and share.
They practise prompt engineering by learning how to give AI clear instructions, add useful details and adjust their prompts when the results are not right. They also practise critical thinking by checking AI-generated information, asking whether it makes sense and deciding what to use, change or reject.
Projects give students a chance to practise persistence and problem-solving. If a story, design, video, piece of code or robot does not work as expected, they can identify what needs to change, try another approach and improve it with guidance.
Students also build communication and confidence. They learn to explain their ideas, share decisions they made and present their work to classmates, parents or the school community. When they develop a business idea or brand, they can practise pitching it by describing the problem it addresses, explaining its value and showing how it could reach people.
These skills help students express their ideas and work with others as they learn. They are useful foundations for future study, work and collaboration.
Guest Sessions: Learn from People Using AI and Building Future Careers
We organise guest sessions that connect students with people working in AI, digital skills and careers shaped by technology. These conversations help students see how the skills they are learning can be used in real jobs, creative work and businesses.
- AI professionals: They introduce students to how AI is being used in different fields and the skills people need to work with it. Students can ask questions, learn about emerging career paths and see where continued learning could take them.
- Content creators and influencers: We invite people students look up to, who share how they develop ideas, create content, build an audience and use digital platforms responsibly.
- Motivational speakers and mindset coaches: They help students build confidence, stay curious and keep going when a project gets challenging.
These sessions give students practical insight, encouragement and a clearer view of how their interests and skills could connect to future opportunities.
Questions About AI Classes and Clubs for Schools
Is the club only for students interested in coding?
No. Students can join the Creative and Innovation Pathway or the STEM Pathway. Creative projects can include storytelling, music, design, business, digital marketing and community innovation. The STEM pathway includes coding and robotics.
What will students make?
Depending on the age group, pathway and project, students may make stories, comics, music, brands, marketing content, videos, websites, apps, community innovations, coded games or robotics projects.
Will every student make the same project?
Students learn shared skills, then apply them to their own ideas. They may work individually or in groups.
How is this relevant to CBC?
The two pathways offer ways for students with different interests to take part. Creative and Innovation can connect with areas such as Arts and Sports Science, Social Sciences and Languages. STEM supports learners interested in science, mathematics, technology, coding and robotics. Projects can be planned with the school.
